What's New?

I added some medieval long swords men. I have long bows, knights, and medieval muskets on the way. Enjoy. (2-27)

FREE counters are hard to come by on the web, but some things in the gaming world should be shared in hopes of keep war gaming alive. Maybe these counters will give the younger players a chance to an experiment and try things out without having to spend money they don't have. Take a look at these counters and any other counter links for free counters. Download, play and enjoy your war gaming.

I am currently working on a counter based version of Soldiers in Time. I am creating the latest version of Soldiers in Time Battle rules with the intension of playing with small counters instead of 15mm figures which are time consuming to paint. I have completed some of the counter sheets which I have posted below. I am starting with the  WWII counters and then switching to Orcs and then to whatever people would like me to create. The download on the counter sheets are large (about 1 meg) but I think they are worth it. FREE!! Check it out. I expect to have this project completed whenever I run out of counters to produce. If you have any suggestions on which ones you would like to see produced, please email me (rgaer@aol.com). If you download the counters and stick them on some solid paper or magnets you will have more then enough counters to play with and a good set of rules to get you into some good sized battles.

If you would like to share your counter sheets from your website posted here, please drop me an email and I'll add your link.

If you like Star Trek stuff check out Mark's website @  http://www.freewebs.com/heavymetaldrake/

Here are some of my  sample half-inch counter sheets that I use for Soldiers in Time. I'm sure they can be adapted to other games. Enjoy and download there are a lot more to come so check back now and again for updates. Just click the link in red and download those PDF files (about 800bts).

I have been in desperate need of a way that I can play my table top games but still be able to leave them for months at a time. Therefore, I have created these counters that I then mount on magnetic backings. I am using them on a 4x4 foot plywood game board with a layer of sheet metal over the top so that the counters will stay on when I mount the entire board up on the wall for storage. If anyone is interested in what this looks like, I post some pictures of the process.
